April 2, 2024 Sea Day 33 days left of 138

 Today Mike cough, cough, is down for the count. He likes to spend his sick days in the dark sleeping, so that is exactly what he did. I hope he feels better tomorrow.

This was a normal sea day, so we did some reading or listening to audiobook, trivia, ate our three meals, I played Sequence with two friends Mike and Susan, sent a video message to our first Cruise Director, and attended a port talk on Richards Bay, South Africa.

At trivia when they were taking drink orders, I asked for a hot Toddy. The waiter delivered all our drinks, including one for Mike. They know his order and without even ordering it, it was delivered. I ran it down to him in our cabin, so he is a happy camper. Viking takes care of us very well. We are spoiled.

We arranged to be able to talk with our friend Dort. She is back to Odd Fellows and is in Rehab working hard to get back to her assisted living apartment. Calling has been difficult while traveling, so it has been awhile since we last talked. We are looking forward to hearing her voice.

We have another sea day tomorrow, so Mike has another day to get to feeling better. It will be a full day in Richards Bay the next day, so we both need to be ready.

We are going back another hour tonight, so I look forward to an extra hour of sleep.
