The journey begins, first leg

 Today was the start of an adventure. We have been planning, dreaming, and talking about our Viking world cruise for 2 years, and today our journey begins. Mikes plan was to travel lite, one big checked luggage of 50 pounds or less, 2 carry on bags, and backpacks. This is reality.

We were over weight on our large bag, so we added a bag. How do you pack for 4.5 months? We were up to the end still grabbing last minute items. From other sites I am on, this sounds like we are with the majority. 

We did take a shot on our first flight from Walla Walla to Seattle. A shout out to our daughter in law Katie and granddaughter Harper for Mike's water bottle, and Noble panels for my water bottle.

Mike and I travel well together. What one missed, the other catches, so we found our way to our hotel to await our next leg early tomorrow morning. 

But first Happy Hour. All we are missing is our happy hour cohorts😒Sigh, there is always tradeoffs in life.

We will be up at 5 to catch our flight to Fort Lauderdale. Wish us luck!
