March 8, 2024 Viking ships pass in HCMC, 58 days left of 138
Today is the second time on this cruise that we have passed the Viking Neptune our sister world cruise ship. Both ship's decks were filled with passengers waving and shouting greetings. It was a fun sight. We are leaving HCMC, and they are arriving. We gave them our berth. I am sure the people with shops in the port will be happy to see new customers arriving. We hope they enjoy their time in Vietnam. As we left the area we also saw another cruise line was docked nearby.
Today was a day for recovery. Mike has some GI issues going on, so down time was appreciated. We have everything we need to get him back on track, so now it just takes time. He did not eat anything off the ship, so that is not the issue. I just want to make sure he stays hydrated as I don't want him to have to deal with kidney stones, did I say that out loud?
After yesterday's marathon blog I am sure you will appreciate a smaller version tonight. At trivia there was no Bruce, he is our cruise director, he has been complaining of a scratchy throat, so we hope that is the only reason he is not doing his normal duties today. Also Max our excursion director has been down, so we hope everyone is feeling better soon.
Mike has already closed his eyes for the night, so I am going to join him. Thanks for reading our blog.
