March 3, 2024 Sea Day 64 days left of 138
Today is a sea day, but last night we were given our new destination excursion documents to review. They have given us some great choices. We spent today reviewing our options, and trying to prioritize our choices. When excursions fill up, they are full, and you have to find something else. They have promised everyone will have a Safari as an included excursion. They also offer a 5 day safari, and at least 2 three day safaris, the included ones are one day excursions.
We also need to make a decision on yellow fever vaccine and malaria treatment. We met with the medical staff to hear the procedure for taking the Malaria treatment, and the yellow fever vaccine is not recommended for those of us who are over the age of 60. I have reviewed the pros and cons and Mike and I decided against taking the vaccine.
Today they did a facial workshop which was using the natural products used on the ship. I do believe that there are 8 women walking around the ship tonight who are glowing. LOL
Tonight we had one of our Viking vocalist Jack who had his first Cabaret show. He did a great job, and seemed to enjoy himself. Mike gave him a congratulation handshake, and I got a shot of them together. You got to love those dimples.
