April 5, 2024 Sea Day 30 days left of 138

Another milestone has been hit. We only have 30 days left of this adventure. Where has the time gone?

How does Viking celebrate you might ask, well if you have been following along, you will know the answer is with food of course. Today it is a donut bar.

I did have to try some of the little filled ones.

I have spent the morning fighting with my computer. I don't know what came over it, but for some reason it is erasing what I am writing and putting in something totally different. I have to go back and erase it and try again. I found out I could hit save and sometimes it would work to let me proceed. Yesterdays blog took twice the time to complete just because of the glitch.

If you are thinking that sea days are a waste of time, you are so wrong. You need these days to get laundry done, rest up for some of these long excursions, and meet up with friends to review what everyone is doing.

Today we are really rock and rolling. We got an alert when we got back last night warning us to batten down the hatches. Our night was pretty good, but today we are having some good heaves.

I guess a little adversity is a good thing, as we won today at Noon trivia. Questions we missed, How many hairs on you head? We got what is the E in Chuck E. Cheese? What does the S in Harry S. Truman stand for? Another one we missed was who carried and lite the Olympic torch, and then metaled in the same Olympics? The trivia is all over the place, and it is a little luck, who you have on your team, how good of a guess can you make, and how good do you remember the answer from the last time they asked the question.

Tonight's trivia was equally hard, but we came in second with at least one other team. It is a fun time to gather and meet new friends.

We have another long excursion tomorrow, so good night.
