February 13, 2024 Sea Day 55 day of 138

 Today is a beautiful sunny blue sky sort of day. High temperature is suppose to be 76 degrees. Mike and I had a lazy start to our morning, and decided to catch some rays. It feels so good to be lying in the sun with the breeze.

At the last port, we picked up some hitchhikers. We have crickets on the outside decks, and Viking employees are trying to keep them out. We have killed a couple of them, and called out our steward twice to catch more of them. We seem to be a cricket magnet. We are just taking one for the team, but we are also decreasing the population.

Tonight the music was a country singer. He gave quite a show with a lot of energy. We had a great time.

We had lightening hitting all around the ship this evening. I never heard thunder which was odd.
