February 3, 2024 Unexpected Sea Day Day 45 of 138

If you read the title in the header, you will see we are having an unexpected Sea day. Weather is causing us to miss our stop in Napier, New Zealand. Last night we experienced some rolling of the boat, mid day was pretty, but it has been windy all day with gusts up to 40 mph. Tonight during trivia there was thunder and lightening.

Sea days are pretty laid back days. I played cards, Mike listened to his audio book, and we did work on a puzzle. Next time we happened by it was done. It was only a 500 piece puzzle, but mostly beige. Ugh

I think I will just share some of the pictures around the ship.

Our friend Margaret getting her drink order served in the hot tub. We are spoiled here.

Some one took a picture of our ship anchored, and one of our tenders returning to the ship. I love the color of the water in the South Pacific.

We have had to say goodbye to staff who have left for their 2 month vacation to see their families.  It is bitter sweet.

Life goes on on the boat. The Viking staff are seamless. Staff go home and new staff come on board. The smiles, and amazing service continues on. We are sad to miss another port, but we have more adventures ahead of us.
