March 11, 2024 Sea day 55 days left of 138

 Today Mike was up and out of the room early to try to be first in line to turn in our excursion choices. He ended up 20th in line, I guess several people had the same idea. We will know in the next 3 days what excursions we will get to go on moving forward.

Our ship is moving a bit more than it has been moving, and I guess I lost my sea legs, as I have been walking like a pin ball from one wall to the next.

When we left Thailand yesterday we had 653 nautical miles to reach Singapore our next port. We are making good time and are on track to arrive to Singapore tomorrow at noon. The temperature there is suppose to be in the 90's.

One interesting fact from Thailand. Our friend Susan counted 74 7-11's on their excursion. I looked it up and Thailand has 13,838 7-11 stores in their country. I think they must have one on each block. Leave it to the US to only send the best, McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Starbucks and 7-11's.

Following dinner our group of 8 met in the Explorers Lounge for after dinner drinks. It is getting closer to the time when we must say goodbye. Our adventure will go on, but we will miss our friends who we have enjoyed many good times with.
