March 20, 2024 Sea Day 46 days left of 138

I have been contemplating all the words that have been used to describe the colors of the Oceans. As we have been traveling and seeing the colors change from hour to hour, day to day, and even as you are looking across the different colors you see in one snapshot view. We have been told the colors are due to the color of the sand at the bottom, the depth, and phytoplankton. All I know is that blue does not describe it, nor does the other 72 words out there. It is a peaceful meditation to sit and watch the changes of each area we are traveling through, as well as the different times of the day, sun and clouds affect passing overhead.

We met with the travel consultant today, and are booking another much shorter cruise in 2026. We want to travel with some friends we have met on board, but also want to see some of what we missed on this cruise. We are trying to put several trips into one, so it will be the Mediterranean, Cairo up the Nile, and Petra. I didn't realize how much I was looking forward to this until we started planning this. What else do you do on a sea day on a world cruise, you look to see how you can get back on a ship. lol

The night ended with our entertainment which tonight is a magician from Singapore named Jeremy Tan. I know you are not suppose to give your tricks away, but he is explaining how he does some things. Before the start of the show they requested 30 people to come down and write a favorite thing on a small piece of paper and fold it up and put it in a box. During the show they asked for a show of hands who did not enter something on the paper. Mike and I along with a majority of the crowd raised our hands, then he said he needed volunteers to come help him out, most everyone lowered their hands. He encouraged us to raise our hands again, so I put mine up half way, and was attempting to get Mike's hand up as well. The magician starts asking 4 people forward, and looks right me and says the woman with the white top open. Ugh, why did he pick me. I purposely sat in the middle half way back, not in the front and not on the sides. I walked up on stage, and we picked 4 of the papers that had been written on. We were suppose to look at it and think about what it said while he asked us questions. He did one man first, then called the second man and me up to stand behind him with our hands on his shoulders. He was asking questions going back and forth between us. Now, the man I was called up with glanced at his paper, and looked at me and said I think Steve Jobs is dead, right? I confirmed that yes he was dead, so now I knew who he was thinking about, without even reading his mind. Needless to say he guessed all four of our favorite things we had picked. I was totally amazed, but our friend Susan has it figured out.

No matter how I do it, if I try to put in more than one picture at a time they are in the wrong order. You get the picture.

Now for the rest of the story, we get back to the room, and I say to Mike, why did he pick me? The truth comes out, Mike was pointing at me to be picked. He is in soooo much trouble, I don't know how, but I will get even, or ahead if I can. LOL

It is always good to end the day with laughter, and we did, so wishing you all love and laughter in your lives.
