April 14, 2024 Sea Day, 21 days left of 138

 We are ticking off the days, and it seems they are coming faster and faster. When we look at what is to come, we have 4 sea days, full day in Dakar, Senegal, 2 days at sea, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, Agadir, Morocco for a evening and a day, Casablanca, Morocco for a day, Tangier, Morocco for a day, Lisbon, Portugal for a day and a half, Leixoes, Portugal, one sea day, then we finish strong with Cherbourg, France, Honfleur, France, Dover, England, and Greenwich, England and we will fly home the next day. Whew! I think recently I said something about needing sea days to catch up and prepare.

Today has been a beautiful day at sea. The temperatures as we get closer to the equator were just over 80 degrees. I was able to swim, and the pool is perfect. The cooler days cooled the pool down, which was getting a little to warm with the solar gain. It is tough when that is what you complain about. We were going in and out of clouds while we were laying out, but when the sun came out in full force it was very warm.

Tonight we enjoyed a Piano entertainer. He was amazing playing classical, jazz, Queen, and Elton John. His fingers were flying over the keyboard. We enjoyed the evening immensely.

Just so you know I am preparing to get home, and so that I am ready, I have ordered a pool and supplies so Harper, and I can enjoy some pool time this spring and summer. I am sure we will work Drew in also as his Mom lets him come visit Grammie and Papa. I also had to get stocked up on some clothes, so there will be something for both kids when they are visiting. Mike and I are loving being grandparents, and this being away this long has been difficult.
