January 12, 1924 Sea Day Day 24
Today it looks like we could have some thunder and lightening during the day. Right now it is overcast. As the day progressed we started rocking and rolling. We have seen some sun breaks, rainbows, and rain. Walking around the ship, I go back and forth between the walls. It does help when you are suddenly running down hill, but just as suddenly you are walking up hill.
Mike went to look for someone a birthstone something at the jewelers. We didn't see anything that caught our fancy, but he found they have watches. Need I say more. My husband loves his watches, and he found one that caught his eye. It does have a luminous dial, so now he can tell me what time it is when I ask at night.
I talked Mike and our new friends to check out a ship building competition. We have the rules, and will be making a plan. I looked up at last years entries, and found a picture of the winner. It will give them some incentive to go big or go home. The rules include Use recyclable materials, or anything you find ashore, The vessel needs a name, and be prepared to introduce it to the judging panel, points will be scored for creativity, workmanship, use of recyclable materials and sea-worthiness, vessel must be able to navigate the bumpy seas of the pool or jacuzzi without capsizing. It sounds like fun, so everyone is to go to their rooms and gather anything they have that might be able to be used. We will meet again soon. I will let you know how it is going.
We are looking forward to better weather tomorrow.
