February 19, 2024 Sea Day Day 60 of 138
It is starting to look like ground hog day. One sea day looks like another.
I told you Viking staff tend to feed us to make sea days unique. Today for breakfast it was Donut Island. Their idea of donuts are not quite the same as what we enjoy in the USA. Mike was looking for a maple bar, sadly not something they made. Someone was trying to decide between high intensity exercise and donut island, she thought maybe she could combine the two for some high intensity donut exercise.
I attended a calligraphy class that is doing copperplate Monograms. I am learning it is not calligraphy, but more like drawing, and easier for left handed people. I am trying it, but you all know I don't draw. Mike got a 4.5 mile walk in.
I got some exercise in the pool, and sun time with Mike. Yes we are looking brown, and it is a great way to enjoy our summer weather down under.
I can't remember if I told you that yesterday we went back another hour. So if you are keeping track of us, we are a day ahead of the Pacific Northwest, and 6 hours behind you.
Any of you who are watching the number of days we have been traveling, we hit a milestone of 2 months traveling. I just saw a picture of our Daughter in Law Katie, and she says she is in her third trimester with our 4th grandchild Drew. Keep him under wraps until we get home. Traveling is great, but there is no place like home. We miss you all, and wish you all the best.
